Since 2009 Louisville Gas and Electric (LG&E) has been implementing an AC monitoring program that includes the corrosion and cathodic protection monitoring test station from MetriCorr. Head of LG&E Corrosion Control Department, Mr. Malcolm Stephens, says that he highly appreciates the MetriCorr assistance. “It has been a true pleasure to work with leading experts in the field of AC corrosion. The MetriCorr ER corrosion rate probes have been proving their effectiveness and we plan to further expand our program and will be using the MetriCorr corrosion rate test stations also for DC-monitoring. We have a Best-in-Class corrosion monitoring program”, Mr. Stephens conclude.
