MetriCorr strives to maintain continuous product development based on dialogue with our clients on one hand and profound research on the other.
The background for our engineered solutions is described in technical papers presented at relevant conferences such as CeoCor and NACE.
Data for CEN and NACE
Our products and services have been developed through joint industry projects completed to support industry needs. We work with major pipeline owners and their consultants globally in order to develop state-of-the-art instrumentation and use it to provide meaningful online data. This data has been provided to standardization bodies, such as NACE (National Association of Corrosion Engineers) and CEN (European Committee for Standardization), as technical background for decisions on criteria and norms for safeguarding assets against interference corrosion.
Our instrumentation has allowed us to perform cutting edge research for some of the biggest research groups such as GERG (European Gas Research Group) and PRCI (Pipeline Research Council International)
Today, our research and innovation activities are embedded in state-of-the-art instruments, data-loggers, sensors, remote monitoring devices and associated data handling and presentation systems.
MetriCorr has maintained a close collaboration with the scientific society through numerous research projects and Ph.D. studies. We also collaborate closely with our clients in the energy sector to make sure our products meet industry needs.
Corrosion sensors, loggers and remote monitoring systems constitute the backbone of our patented products, which are channelled around the globe through our dedicated network of distributors and agents.
MetriCorr and the Technical University of Denmark joined forces and organized an industrial PhD in 2015-2018 on “AC Corrosion of Cathodically Protected Pipelines”. Download Andreas Junker Olesens thesis here.
MetriCorr is based on research in the field of corrosion, cathodic protection and electrical interference. Download MetriCorr’s 18 early, yet unseen publications here.
MetriCorr prides itself on continued contribution to the knowledge base for corrosion and interference on submerged and buried structures. Our research and engineering team has been a part of, and chaired, standardization committees for NACE, CEN, ISO… and written and presented numerous scientific papers at congresses and in journals all over the world.
